WELCOME TO THE GRISWOLD FAMILY ASSOCIATION

The Griswold Family Association was founded in 1930, to collect, preserve, and disseminate genealogical and historic facts relating to the origin and growth of the Griswold family in America. The Griswold Family Association holds Annual Reunions, usually on the first weekend in August, issues a quarterly newsletter and other publications, and sponsors tours of interest to our members.

2012-2013 GFA Scholarship Applications are available now on this website and in the January 2012 GFA Bulletin which will be mailed this month. Three $1000 scholarships will be awarded to applicants who are members or children of members in good standing, who plan to attend an undergraduate college, university or accredited training program.  Completed applications are due by March 31st 2012.  Be sure to include all sections of the application as required: competition is fierce so give us your best effort!

There is an active Griswold DNA project on-line: one of the most exciting advances in genealogical research is the new technology which makes family connections through the male line.  If you are a male with the Griswold surname, you can sign up and help to build the Griswold database.  Look for more information at www.familytreedna.com/public/GRISWOLD/
