GFA Annual Reunion August 2008
The 2008 Griswold Family Reunion will be held July 31, August 1, 2, 2008 at
the Holiday Inn in Alexandria, Virginia, located across the Potomac River from
Washington, DC. The Holiday Inn is located near King Street's entertainment
district, restaurants and world famous boutique shopping. Three days of
sightseeing will occur in the Washington, DC area. Planned activities will focus
mostly on museums, memorials, and cultural & art exhibitions. GFA will rent a
bus or tram to take us to the Washington locations.
GFA members must call 703-548-6300 to reserve rooms at our Griswold Family
Reunion special rate of $ 99 plus 10% tax. Parking is located at the hotel and

4:30 PM - 7PM GFA welcome and registration in Holiday Inn lobby.
Friday, Aug 1, 2008
9:00 AM Board Bus for Washington, DC downtown-mall tour (i.e. Smithsonian,
National Archives, Lincoln Memorial).
5:00 PM Arrive Back at Hotel
Executive Board meeting, 6:30PM-8:30 PM
Saturday, Aug 2, 2008
8-9 AM Registration and continental breakfast
9:00 AM - 10:30 AM GFA Annual Meeting for all members and children
10:45 AM - 5:00 PM Board Bus and depart for Washington DC Mall area and tour
schedule (lunch on your own).
630 PM-7:00 PM cocktail reception (cash bar available)
7-10 PM Buffet dinner and group activities & entertainment.

9AM -1:30 PM Arlington National Cemetery with various stops within cemetery.
