The next GFA Annual Reunion will be held in Wethersfield/Glastonbury, CT on August 3-5, 2018. Reunion chairs Richard Griswold and Sara French are working on an interesting itinerary which should appeal to all members of our organization.
Both Michael and Edward Griswold got their start in CT. in this region and much of our colonial heritage began in the greater Hartford towns. The Connecticut River was a very integral part of the early Griswold families in this area. The Executive Board will meet on Friday evening at our hotel.
We will hold our Annual Business Meeting on Saturday morning following breakfast (included in hotel reservation ) light refreshments will be provided for those not taking breakfast. Following the meeting we will board buses for a rolling tour of Wethersfield, CT with our destination being Griswoldville, CT Chapel for a noon meal and program on the Griswoldville Clothing Industries.
